Mohsen ATTYA

The artist Mohsen Attya is a painter living in Cairo who searches into the spot of colour into the lines which reaches beyond the invisible. He moves the spot of colour to reach the nearby spot in order to chat dispute or to hug. The most important thing is that it shouldn't lose it's bright presence, it begins its clear emotional speech in a harmony. The smilies and figurations pave the way to the attach in no time, in a world of metaphors, across sense depths. Ornamentation prepares the formula of enjoy, with a free fictional leaps, so that the lines and formation adopt their own independent presence.

- Commissaire of the egyptian pavilion in Tashkent 1998 and the Art Beinnale of Bangladesh 2001.
- Won the Gold Medal for creativity excellence from the Academy of Art, Uzbekistan, 2003.
- International Arbitrator for Tashkent Art Beinnale in 2005.
- Acquisitions in the Museum of Modern Egyptian Art, Academy of Art in Tashkent, National Museum of Uzbekistan, Modern Art Museum in Bangladesh.
